Project 40 days

Only in the world in 2016 or 40 days on a deserted island to show that one can live with "less" too much waste, too much pollution, too many chemical treatments, too many cancers, global warming... Objective: to show that one can live "otherwise" business leaders, associations, individuals, broker us! Helping us is helping you yourself.

Farid MAKHLOUF, I'm 45 years old, Electrician, I am divorced with one child. I practice skydiving, biking and am passionate about Nature.

ALAZARD Pascal, 49, Landscape architect, married 3 children. Convenient Walk, a former paratrooper 9th RCP (Commando trained in the techniques) and a big fan of Mother Nature.

We are Chairman and Vice Chairman of the association "40 days."

We both live in SAZE Gard in a village of 1850 inhabitants located about ten kilometers from Avignon.

If we come to you, it's because we have a project we want to achieve.

We would leave on August 1 for four days of low 17,000 Kms from home, destination Island Olorua.

Olorua is an island of 30,000 m² in the Pacific 300 kilometers south east of Fiji on which we spend 40 Days and 40 Nights with no human interference.

The objects that we will take are: 1 tight with 2 suitcases go pro, 2 camera, 2 solar panels, two machetes, two knives, fishing line, hooks, like a Satellite (to be used only in case of extreme urgency) and a first aid kit.

We will take you with us, nor water nor food.

We have in France, specifically in our village of Saze, Dr. Julie TESTUD, Who helps us prepare our first aid kit and that we can, if urgently needed, attach satellite phone.

This is a person from the clan of Komos who lives on the island of La Mothe (the closest island, 15 kms) which will take us by boat on Olorua, moreover Olorua belongs to this clan.

This same person will pick us up at the end of the Periplus 40 days later, or in the event of serious injury ...

Learn to adapt to the new environment in the medium term and return to basics.

Our bet, arrive on this island without food, without water, and live for 40 days with only the resources that will provide us the island in question.

We will film the best we can every day of our adventure, bring maximum quality images will also be a challenge ...

We want through the documentary and that we will achieve this great human adventure, to send a message to the modern world.

The documentary will mainly parallels the relationship between man, nature and the preservation of our environment.

Prove that you can live with little or no comfort on an island and therefore with limited resources and that we can also learn to adapt to medium term.

Prove that if you follow Mother Nature, it will ensure you feed its animals, plants and fish.

Bringing together and making mankind aware of the importance of respecting the environment.

Farid MAKHLOUF
