Proving that if you respect and live in harmony with your environment, mother nature will feed you wildlife, flora and fishing.

Who are we ?

Farid MAKHLOUF, I am 45 years old, I am a craftsman electrician, I am married to a sixteen year old child of whom I have custody. I practice the free fall, the bike and am passionate about nature.

Pascal ALAZARD, 49 years old, artisan Landscaper, married 3 children. Practice la Marche, ex-paratrooper of the 9th RCP (trained in commando techniques) and a great passion of mother nature.

We both live in SAZE in a Gardois village of 1850 inhabitants which is about ten kms from Avignon.

If we come to you, it is because we have a project that we want to achieve.

We would leave on 01 August for 4 days of flights to 17 000 kms from us, destination Olorua island.

Olorua is a deserted island of 30 000 m² in the middle of the Pacific at 300 KMS South East of Fiji Islands on which we will spend 40 days and 40 nights without further human interference.

The items we carry are: 1 waterproof suitcases with 2 GB Pro, 2 camcorder, 2 solar panels, 2 machetes, 2 knives, fishing wire, hooks, such satellite (to be used only

in case of extreme urgency) and a first aid kit.

We have in France, more specifically in our village of SAZE, Dr. Julie TESTUD, who helps us to prepare our first aid kit and that we can, if the urgency is necessary, reach her by satellite telephone.

It is a person of the clan Komos who lives on the island of Mothe, (nearest Island, 15 kms) that will lead us by boat on Olorua, besides Olorua belongs to this clan.

This same person will come back to us at the end of the journey 40 days after, or in case of serious injury...
Learn to adapt in the medium term to its new environment, and return to the sources.

Our bet, arrive on this island without food, without water, and live for 40 days with only the resources that we can provide the island in question.
We will film as best we can every day of our adventure, bringing back a maximum of images of qualities is also a challenge...

We want through this documentary and this beautiful human adventure, to launch a message to the modern world.

The documentary will mainly be a parallel to the relationship between man, nature and the preservation of our environment.

Proving that one can live with little or no comfort on an islet and therefore with limited resources and that one can also learn to adapt in the medium term to a new environment,

Proving that if you respect and live in harmony with your environment, mother nature will feed you wildlife, flora and fishing.
